How to Create A Sacred Space

Are you feeling Overwhelmed, always busy or disconnected?

Would you like a place where you can relax, unwind and reconnect?

If so creating a Scared Space might just be the way to go.

Many of us share space with our partners, kids, friends or housemates, our energies become entwined and we can often loose touch with our own needs and desires, we may enjoy our time together but we all need time to recharge and reconnect with who we are.

Creating a sacred space in our physical life can remind us that we all have a place to go within where we can recharge, gain insight and understand ourselves on a deeper level.

Step 1.

Find a place in your home, this can either be a separate room or a corner of a room.

Step 2.

Smudge the area with white sage, be very careful when burning the sage as embers can drop ( make sure you have a bowl or shell underneath) this will clear any stagnant or stuck energy. I always burn incense or have my aromatherapy infuser on afterwards to bring positive energy into the space once cleared.

Another way to clear the energy if you don’t want to burn sage is to use a Space Clearing spray made up of Australian bush flower essence, this can be found in many health food shops.

Step 3.

Find things that you love to put in that space: these could be crystals, a special journal, oracle cards, plants, soft cushions basically anything that makes you feel happy.

Step 4.

Create an ambience using incense, a diffuser with aromatherapy such as Lavender or Cedarwood, soft music or nature sounds.

Step 5.

Use this space daily to meditate, write in a journal, tap into your intuition through your oracle/ Tarot deck or just relax.

Even if it’s only 5 minutes a day you will be surprised how this daily ritual can start to benefit you helping to connect you to your soul allowing you to recharge, rejuvenate and feel balanced.
